Inspired by the legendary movie FAME, the musical was a vibrant celebration of dreams, ambition, talent, and the relentless pursuit of artistic excellence. Bursting with high-energy choreography, captivating music, and emotionally charged performances, the young artists transformed the stage into a world of passion, creativity, and self-discovery. The production not only showcased extraordinary student talent but also reflected Auckland House School’s enduring commitment to nurturing confidence, creativity, and all-round development — values that have defined the institution for over a century and a half.

The opening show on May 16 was graced by distinguished theatre personality Sohaila Kapur — acclaimed actress, playwright, director, and television anchor — whose immense contribution to Indian theatre and performing arts has earned nationwide admiration. Deeply impressed by the scale and professionalism of the production, she applauded the students and organisers for presenting a performance of exceptional artistic quality.

Special Guest Anuradha Dar, noted academician and educationist, praised the institution’s dedication towards fostering imagination, confidence, and holistic growth among students. Adding further prestige to the occasion, Ashish Kohli, Director of Elementary Education, attended the event as Guest of Honour. The distinguished guests congratulated the students, faculty, and organisers for staging a musical extravaganza of such scale, elegance, and excellence.

Met with roaring applause and admiration from the audience, FAME emerged as a shining highlight of Auckland House School’s historic 160-year celebrations — a spectacular tribute to the institution’s rich legacy and vibrant spirit.
