Auckland House School For Boys Celebrates Spectacular Middle Section Sports Day

The Middle Section Sports Day of Auckland House School for Boys was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur on 24th May 2023. The event witnessed the presence of Mr. Manohar Lal, Assistant Director of Physical Education at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, as the esteemed Chief Guest.

The program commenced with a magnificent Guard of Honour, followed by an impressive March-Past featuring the participation of all four school houses: Durrant, French, Lefroy, and Matthew. The students showcased their discipline and unity as they marched smartly to the tune of the melodious Pipe Band.

Grand March-Past and Colorful Displays Highlighted the Event (Auckland House School )

Following the March-Past, the students of classes III to V enthralled the audience with colorful P.T. displays. The event continued with a mesmerizing Yoga display, where the students exhibited their adeptness and flexibility in Gymnastics. The program further delighted the proud parents in the audience with exciting races and a thrilling game of Musical Chair.

The skating event stole the spotlight, garnering maximum applause as the young boys of Auckland House showcased their skills on colorful wheels, gliding gracefully. The Sports Day reached its pinnacle with the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging the achievements of the participants. The Durrant House was awarded the prestigious Sports Shield, while the Matthew House secured the victory in the Marching Cup category.

Principal Michael A. John expressed his gratitude during the vote of thanks, and the event concluded with a collective rendition of the National Anthem, evoking a sense of pride and unity.
