Azadi Celebrations At Saplings Play School

In the spirit of the celebration, Saplings Play School hosted a captivating event dedicated to India’s freedom struggle. The program commenced with a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem, followed by a kaleidoscope of presentations that highlighted various aspects of the Indian Army, freedom fighters, and martyrs.

Children adorned themselves in the attire of different historical figures associated with the struggle for independence. Their engaging performances resonated with the audience, mesmerizing parents and attendees alike. Notably, the presence of two distinguished officers from the Indian Army added an aura of honor to the occasion. The event commenced with the dignified unfurling of the national flag, a symbol of India’s rich heritage and sacrifices.

Towards the end of the program, the stage was graced by young avatars of iconic freedom fighters like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Bhagat Singh. Their portrayal added a touch of historical grandeur to the proceedings, reminding everyone of the valiant struggle for independence.

Addressing the gathering, the school’s principal, Mrs. Kusum Kuthiyala, emphasized that the significance of freedom and sacrifice isn’t lost on these young minds. Although they might not fully comprehend the magnitude of these sacrifices, their exposure to such values at an early age lays a strong foundation for a better future. These children are the building blocks of a nation that values its history and learns from it.
