BECIL, C-DAC Join Hands for Digital Future

Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to strengthen collaboration in advanced technologies, digital transformation, and capacity building.

The partnership aims to drive joint project implementation, consultancy services, and technical support while developing solutions in emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, cybersecurity, 5G, and cloud computing. It also seeks to enable turnkey solutions across sectors, promote technology transfer, and support commercialization of innovative products.

In addition, the agreement emphasizes workforce upskilling and capacity-building initiatives to enhance technical expertise and industry readiness.

The MoU was signed by Capt. (IN) Saurav Chauhan (Retd), Director (O&M), BECIL, and Niranjan Vaishnav, Registrar, C-DAC, in the presence of senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, BECIL CMD Cmde D.K. Murali (Retd.) said the collaboration would strengthen the company’s capabilities in advanced technologies and digital transformation. He noted that leveraging the complementary strengths of both organizations would help deliver impactful solutions and support India’s digital growth.

The partnership is expected to foster innovation, accelerate adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to building a robust and future-ready digital ecosystem aligned with the Government of India’s Digital India vision.

BECIL is a Mini Ratna Category-I public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, established in 1995. It provides consultancy and turnkey solutions in broadcasting, information technology, and telecommunications, and has expanded into areas such as e-governance, smart cities, healthcare, and manpower services.

C-DAC is a premier research and development organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It works in advanced computing, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software technologies, supporting national initiatives through technology development and capacity-building programs.
