Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government will ensure budgetary provisions before announcing and implementing welfare and development schemes and not like the previous government made announcements only to get political mileage without making budgetary provisions. He was addressing a public meeting at Chanour under Indora assembly segment today after taking stock of the preparations of Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Chief Minister said the present state government would fulfill all the 10 guarantees of the Congress Pratigya Patra-2022 after making the required budgetary provisions.
“We are committed to improve fiscal health of the state and will ensure to boost the economy in coming times,” the Chief Minister said. He also said that the government would have zero tolerance towards corrupt practices. The first nail in the coffin was the suspension of the Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur which had become the hub of selling jobs. State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh, Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar, CPS Ashish Butail, MLAs Malinder Rajan, Kewal Singh Pathania, Suresh Kumar, Principal Advisor (IT and Innovation) to CM Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (Political) to CM Suneel Sharma, former minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri were also present on the occasion among others.
