Young students of Chapslee Public School displayed incredible physical strength during their junior section sports day that was held at the school premises here today. Dinesh Panet, Senior P.Ed. Teacher graced the occasion as the chief guest and while speaking on the occasion he said that winning and losing is just a matter of chance and one should not feel disheartened. They should contemplate on the situation and try to find their weakness so that in future they can work to convert their weakness into strength.
During the event students from class nursery to III participated and won hearts of many. Races like hurdle, balancing, skipping, relays and sack race were conducted. The highlight of the day was the tug of war and musical chairs.
Winners were awarded with gifts by the chief guest and School Principal Sudershan Dogra who lauded the efforts put in by the staff and students for making the event a great success.
