Chief Minister releases newsletter of APG University Shimla

The second edition of the AGU Newsletter, published by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of APG Shimla University, was released by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at the State Secretariat on Monday. On this special occasion, the editorial team of the newsletter and senior officials from APG Shimla University paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister.

Chancellor Er. Suman Vikrant, Pro-Chancellor and Editor-in-Chief of the newsletter Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Assistant Prof. Dr. Neelam Sharma and Assistant Prof. Vijayashree briefed the Chief Minister of University’s academic and overall achievements.

The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of APG University in the field of professional education, emphasizing the importance of providing quality education and practical self-reliance to students. He encouraged the university to continue its excellent work in enhancing student’s facilities and education.

During this event, the senior officials and dignitaries of the university reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the quality of education for students. The CM praised the university’s recent orientation and welcome program for new students, highlighting the importance of guiding students correctly and helping them progress in life. He noted that a newsletter serves as a mirror of an institution’s achievements and information, and appreciated the creative work presented by the students and faculty in the newsletter.

Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, along with the CM’s Media Advisor Naresh Chauhan, were also present at the release event. They commended the creative work presented by the faculty and students of the University.
