Governor presents awards to students

While presenting “Shining Star Awards” organized by The News Radar, English Digital News Channel at historic Gaiety Theatre, Shimla today, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that strong foundation of the student upto plus two levels would be helpful in shaping their personality and overall development as this would also keep the students away from drugs and their energy to be used in a creative direction. He said that they should be given education which could inculcate those values towards family, society and country.

On the occasion, he felicitated the students of Shimla district who excelled in Class 10 and 12 Board examinations.

Shukla said that the hard work, determination and commitment to excellence of the students who have been awarded for their talent has brought them to this position. He called upon the students to maintain this achievement. He congratulated the management of the digital news channel for organizing such an event.

Earlier, Gopal Puri, Political Editor, The News Radar, English Digital News Channel welcomed the Governor. Sunil Chaddha, Executive Editor honoured the Governor on the occasion.
