Choir & School Band ‘Shelz’ Enthrall the Audience — Auckland Girls

The Senior Section Annual Day of Auckland House School was held here today as chief guest for the event was Prof. Meenakshi Faith Paul, Principal and Professor of English at the Department of Evening Studies, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest along with Sunita John, Director Principal Auckland House School and Michael A John, Principal Auckland House School for Boys.

The choir and the school band ‘Shelz’ enthralled the audience with their harmonious voices followed by an English play titled, ‘The Poison Party’. The children staged a Hindi play titled ‘Mein Nadi Ansu Bhari’, creating awareness about water pollution, which was then followed by a dance drama ‘Chitrangda’.

The Principal, presented the annual report of the school, highlighting the achievements and the laurels won by the school. The chief guest was unequivocal in her praise and appreciated the hard work put in by the students and the staff.
