A delegation of Bhartiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) led by President Madan Rana called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, here today.

While addressing the delegation, Chief Minister announced to reduce the promotion period of Junior T-mate and Junior Helper of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board from the period of five years to three years.

He said that employees are the backbone of the state government and they implement the schemes and programmes of the state government at grass root level.

Chief Minister said that employees gave massive support during Covid pandemic and the state government has never disappointed the employees.

Chief Minister assured the delegation to sympathetically consider their other demands.

Executive President of Technical Employees Association of HPSEB  Laxman Kapta, representatives of BMS and Technical Employees Association were also present on the occasion.
