CM Applauds Policewoman Bindiya’s Triumph On Yunam Peak

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated Ms. Bindiya for scaling Yunam Peak (6111 mts) in Lahaul, recently. Bindiya is serving as a constable in Police and posted in 4th IRB, Jangalberi. She underwent her basic and advance training in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali.

Chief Minister wished her the very best for her upcoming expeditions and said that it was a matter of pride that Ms. Bindiya is the first woman of the State Police who conquered the Yunam Peak. Bindiya hails from Kangu village of Nadaun area of Hamirpur district.
