CM Sukhu held an interactive session with students at Government Senior Secondary School, Rampur Bushahr, addressing key issues including educational infrastructure, non-teaching duties of teachers, tourism, and substance abuse.

Promptly acting on a student’s request regarding the split campus of Government Senior Secondary School, Rachauli, the Chief Minister sanctioned ₹2 crore for a new school building, promising additional funds if needed. Responding to student concerns over academics, CM Sukhu assured that non-teaching duties for teachers would be minimized and staff shortages addressed. On a lighter note, he shared that he would have pursued farming if not politics, named siddu as his favorite Himachali dish, and encouraged students to limit mobile phone use while actively participating in sports.

Following the interaction, Chief Minister Sukhu flagged off and joined a student-led ‘Anti-Chitta’ rally through the main Rampur market. He concluded the event by administering an anti-drug pledge to students, urging them to lead the drive for a drug-free Himachal.
