Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released two books viz. ‘Jalandhar Peeth Ka Rahsya’ and ‘Mushtarka Khata’ authored by writer and Director, Information and Public Relations North East Council Ajay Parashar here today.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the writer in compiling these insightful books. He said that the book of ‘Jalandhar Peeth Ka Rahsya’ would provide an in depth exploration of the historical and religious significance of various peeths of Himachal Pradesh, while ‘Mushtarka Khata’ is a compendium of 16 short stories that reflect various aspects of everyday life.
He said that these works would go a long way in enhancing public understanding of local culture and history. He expressed confidence that these books would be well received by readers. Writer Ajay Parashar extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for releasing these books and encouraging words. He has written seven books and two more were underway.
