Colours of Harvest Showcased by Students of DAV School

DAV.LB.9.11.15aStudents of DAV School, Lakkar Bazaar showcased various shades of harvest season celebration during their annual function held at Gaiety Theatre, here today. The event was held in two sessions, in the morning and evening. In the morning session Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pankaj Rai graced the occasion with his presence and in the evening Mayor Sanjay Chauhan encouraged the students for their achievements and laid emphasis on giving freedom to the students for choosing their professions.

DAV.LB.9.11.15He appreciated the management of school that made all the students participate in the cultural programme and expressed his happiness to know that the students in school are taught with latest techniques (smart classes). Being an Ex-DAV student, he felt proud considering the high standards of the school in field of not only education but in co-curricular activities too.

During the event School Principal Kamana Beri informed the parents about the exceptionally good results of the students during the current session and highlighted various achievements of the students via a visual documentary.

As DAV events are known for their theme based programmes, this time the Harvest Festival Celebration ruled the day. Junior wing students were seen performing various dances that are performed to mark the celebration of harvest season in the various part of the country, such as Mere Desh Ki Dharti as a prelude to the performance after which Kashmiri, Bihu, Bengali, Rajasthani, Pongal, Punjabi and Natti were preformed.

Various students were awarded for their outstanding performances including Anshuman, Sonali, Neha, Avanya, Saksham, Aditya, Surya, Akshansh, Shriyan, Alokik, Kitan, Moksh, Aditya, Adarsh, Harshit, Nishant, Sky, Kannika, Nishant, Pranjal, Sejal, Suhani, Nikita, Karan,Harishit Sujal Sumesha Ayush, Yachana, Disheeta, MridualSrijal, Kusaan, Bhuvneshwari, Sanskar, Riteeka Rupali, Ishant, Bhanika, Nandini, Loveleena and Anish to name a few.
