The management of Bishop Cotton School aims to provide a safe space for students from all around the country and abroad to express themselves through debating. A student’s all-rounded development occurs through testing skills outside academic and athletic parameters. Extracurricular activities enable profound character development and team building.
The commencement of this prestigious inter-school English debate competition, is a significant step towards fostering the values of critical thinking, constructive dialogue, and intellectual growth. The arrival of the participating teams marks the beginning of a thought-provoking and enriching exchange of ideas, where students will engage in respectful and intellectual discourse. Today, through a draw of lots, the teams for pre-qualifiers were selected. Through these debates, all will have an opportunity to witness the demonstration of analytical reasoning and the expression of diverse perspectives by the students.
