Donate Blood, Save Lives — ASHADEEP

bood.27.9.15Doing you bit towards saving lives and taking up important social issues is a must in todays’ world and when selfless efforts are made towards them then appreciation as well as support is much needed. A Blood Donation Camp was organized by ASHADEEP, an NGO based in Shimla and established since 1993. Founded by Sushil Tanwar, President, he has been working diligently towards helping the poor and needy at every step. The blood camp was organized in Jutog Cantonment with the sole purpose of motivating people to donate blood.

A team of doctors and technicians was present from the IGMC, Shimla Blood Bank to assist the organizers and more than 20 units of blood was collected during the day. Other present to encourage the people to donate blood were Ms Radha, an active member of ASHADEEP who c0ordinated the camp and Kalpana Sharma, Principal, BSN School, Chakkar.
