Dussehra festival celebrated at Jakhu temple

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today paid obeisance at Sri Hanuman Temple Jakhu, Shimla on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra and prayed for the prosperity of the State and its people. He also set light to the effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the festival symbolises victory of good over evil. He urged the people to work collectively for eradication of drug abuse from the society.

MLA Harish Janartha, Mayor Surinder Chauhan, Local Councillor Atul Gauam, Other Counselors of Municipal Corporation Shimla, Representatives of various organizations, Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap,  SP Police Sanjeev Gandhi, MC Commissioner Bhupender Atri and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
