Earthen Lamps Light Up Shemrock Buttercups

It was pre Diwali celebrations at Shemrock Buttercups, Khalini and the day turned out to be special as students and staff lighted earthen diyas to pay homage to the Uri martyrs and kept alive the spirit of nationalism.

Children were dressed in traditional attires and were told tales from The Ramayana and the reason behind the celebration of Diwali.

School Principal, Umang Banga said that the day was rather special as this time celebration was in resonance with the sacrifice and selfless service of the soldiers guarding the nation.

Participants for the event were Pulkit, Aarav, Asrit, Priteesh, Tanvi, Tejasvani, Atharv, Anshuman, Akshaj, Harmeet, Samarth, Idhika, Aarav, Parnika, Anusha, Mridul, Liya, Samar, Uday, Tanya, Abhinav, Vimudha, Mehar and Lakshay.
