Students of Chapslee School gave a tough competition to the scorching heat with their confidence and physical strength as they celebrated their Annual Inter House Athletic Meet at the Police Ground Bharari, Shimla here today. Kanwar Dushyant Singh, a well know active environmentalist graced the occasion as the chief guest and while expressing his happiness he said that it was indeed a great pleasure to be part of such an enthusiastic day. He encouraged the students to never give up on trying and also inspired them by saying that all students are not meant to shine in studies alone. They should look around and identify their true potential.
Being an environmentalist he encouraged the students to give up use of plastics as it is dangerous for the environment. He told them to use their resources carefully without wasting them.
During the day P. T. display by Classes IX and X was quite remarkable and various races were held to challenge the physical strength of the students. The loud cheers and claps resounded the ground as each house vide for their friends to finish first at the crossing line.
Another highlight of the event was the Inter-School Athletic races in which students from Bishop Cottons, Auckland House Girls School, Durga public School among other participated and won laurels.
