File Objections/Suggestions on Ward Delimitation by June 9

Additional District Magistrate (Protocol), Jyoti Rana, has announced that proposals for the delimitation of wards in various Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats across District Shimla are now open for public scrutiny. These proposals pertain to Municipal Councils of Rohru, Theog, Rampur, and Sunni, as well as Nagar Panchayats of Narkanda, Kotkhai, Jubbal, Nerwa, Chopal, and Chirgaon.

Residents can inspect the proposed ward boundaries and related documents during office hours at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Shimla, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer (C) offices, respective Municipal Councils, and Nagar Panchayat offices. The proposals are also accessible via the DC Shimla’s official e-Gazette.

Citizens who wish to file objections or suggestions must submit them in Form-2 to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Shimla, no later than June 9, 2025. Feedback received within this period will be duly considered before finalizing the ward delimitation plans.
