An idea that snowballs into something great can only be lauded for its creative genius when it comes out in the form of two amazing anthologies – Fiction Treasure Trove – 31 Short Stories by Children and हिमाचल के रंग — कथा पचीसी. This is a genuine effort to bring the two generations together…. meet our under 18 writers and 40 plus writers.
The young can surprise you, all they are looking for are opportunities to be read and be discovered, they are the future… while our seasoned writers have penned many poems, stories and have authored many books, but now share a common platform of being read in the upcoming anthology. A huge round of applause to our 31 young winners from pan India and 25 senior writers from Himachal.
We are thankful to all the writers who took the time to send us stories, but couldn’t make it to the final list. We hope they will be part of our journey next time too.
Meet the jury members for both our competitions… they definitely had a tough task to read such gripping, mind-blowing and imaginative stories and to be able to select the best that our now being published. Anonymity was the key to create a free and fair chance for all. They were union in sharing that whether a writer is 8 or 80, the flow of words, the plots, the vocabulary, the characters and the final outcome had them all bowled over. We are thankful to these erudite teams who took the time to read the amazing stories and made these two anthologies possible, a dream of every writer to see her/his work published. Wait and watch as we disclose more soon.
