Keekli’s 40 Over 40 Short Story Competition Results — An Upcoming Anthology of Amazing Stories

Heartiest congratulations to the participants and the winners!

The much-awaited result of the “40 Over 40” Short Story Writing Competition are in. The jury members – Dr Rekha Vashisht, Prof Meenakshi F Paul, Dr Purnima Chauhan and Dr Vidya Nidhi Chhabra – had a few very difficult decisions to make while selecting the best stories that will now be part of an amazing anthology, soon to be released in November, 2022. The three main parameters used for scoring were – the theme; the story idea and vocabulary/expression. To keep the authenticity of the competition, the judges were given only code numbers and titles of the stories to keep the anonymity of the writers. The judges were highly impressed with the submissions and shared that this would make an incredible read for our young audience.

The results shared have been listed as per the Merit list and only top 25 Stories have been selected to be published as they meet the criteria of the competition and inclusion in the book. The stories will soon be edited and published as an anthology.
