The Masonic Fraternity of Shimla, one of the oldest Masonic centers in India dating back to 1876, is set to observe Universal Brotherhood Day through a series of impactful social service initiatives aimed at promoting compassion and community welfare.
Inspired by the national call of Regional Grand Master Puneet Sohal and guided by the Masonic principles of charity and fraternity, the Shimla Freemasons will carry out various public welfare programs on June 22 and 24.
Program Highlights:
June 22, 2025 (Sunday):

8:30 AM – Walkathon at The Ridge, Shimla: A public awareness walk to spread the core values of Freemasonry.

10:30 AM – Blood Donation Camp Inauguration:

Organized at The Ridge, in support of IGMC Shimla’s Blood Bank.

Donation of a blood collection monitor to the IGMC Blood Bank.

Financial aid extended to Geeta Devi, a widow, to support the education of her two daughters.

June 24, 2025 (Tuesday):

1:30 PM – Visit to ABHI School, Sanjauli:

A charitable visit to a school for special children, where Freemasons will provide lunch, study materials, and equipment for around 40 students.

This marks the third consecutive year of the fraternity’s engagement with the institution.

Around 60 Freemasons and their families are expected to join the events, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to social good, inclusion, and the spirit of brotherhood.
