Fun, Sun and Rain during Auckland Boys Sports Meet

AuckyBoys.23.5.16aYoung talented students of Auckland House School for Boys gave an extraordinary demonstration of their physical strength during their Senior Annual Section Sports Day held here today in the school premises. The chief guest for the occasion was Sandeep Dhawal, SP Cyber Crime, CID wing Shimla. He said that it was a great pleasure to be present to witness such warm and enthusiastic physical activity. He thanked the School Principal Micheal John for giving him this wonderful opportunity.

Students showcased their strength in various physical activities like Marching, Lazium Display, Aerobics, Gymnastics, Ball P.T., Yoga and Taekwondo as well as various races were held during the day.

Shot Put Group A – Karandeep Singh first, Kartik Sharma second and Mahin Samuel John third; Group B – Vansh Gandhi first, Abhinav Singh second and Aaditya Pathak third.

Soft Ball Group A– Pranav Chauhan first, Dakshvir Singh Thakur second and Aryan Sharma third; Group B – Aayan Mahajan first, Janish Sharma second and Sarvaansh Guleri third.

Baton Relay Group A –  Sumit Kumar first, Parvaldeep second and Ayush Thakur third; Group B – Vansh Gandhi first, Ritvik second and Kunal Rana third; Group C – Sujal Verma first, Pranav Chauhan second and Sasmit Negi third; Group D – Shrey Vyas first, Ayush Thakur second and Parvaldeep Singh third.

Frog Race – Harshit Gupta first, Vansh Gandhi second and Abhishek Khosla third.

Sack Race – Rohan Sharma first, Shaurya Mehta second and Arnav Rohal third.

Tying the Knots – Satyam Chauhan first, Samarveer Singh Jhak second and Aryan Sharma third.

Jumping Over the Bench Race – Sourab Negi first, Parvaldeep Singh second and Akshat Sabadhya  third.

Under the Table Race – Arman Thakur first, Pranav Sharma second and Harsh Thakur third.

Kangaroo Race – Farzan Hayat Khan first, Bhuvnesh Thakur second and Ayush Thakur third.

Skating Race Group A – Tanmay Sharma first, Siyan Kaushik second and Aashish Sharma third; Group B – Aryan Thakur first, Harshit Thakur second and Saransh Chauhan third.

Taekwondo – Sameer Kaundal first, Chirag Sharma second and Lakshay third.

Schhol Principal Micheal John appreciated the collective hard work put in by students and teachers to make this day a grand success. He also lauded the role of the parents who encourage their children to participate in various activities and emphasized on the importance of personal parental touch in the life of a child.

The day ended with full excitement and enthusiasm and above all the Indra Dev too showered his blessing to congratulate the winners.
