Governor and Chief Minister Greet People on Deepawali

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali. In his message, the Governor said that Deepawali is the festival of lights, which symbolizes joy and happiness and light over darkness. He expressed hope that this festival brings joy and happiness into the lives of the people of the State. 

The Chief Minister while extending Deepawali greetings to the people, expressed hope that the Deepawali festival would shower enlightenment on the people of the State and would bring prosperity to them besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity. Jai Ram Thakur said that Deepawali was one of the major festivals of the country which was celebrated by people of all regions and religions with joy and fervor.
