In a solemn ceremony marking the fourth death anniversary of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shukla paid heartfelt tributes at the historic Padam Palace in Rampur, Shimla district.
Remembering Singh as a “towering statesman and visionary leader,” the Governor emphasized his pivotal role in the comprehensive development of the state. “Raja Sahib’s legacy is deeply embedded in the hearts of the people of Himachal,” Shukla remarked, noting that Singh’s lifelong commitment to public service continues to inspire future generations.
Governor Shukla also acknowledged Singh’s efforts in preserving the spiritual and cultural ethos of the region. Highlighting his stand against religious conversions, he said, “His actions demonstrated a deep commitment to protecting the sanctity and heritage of Dev Bhoomi Himachal.”
The tribute event was attended by Singh’s family members, dignitaries, and numerous local residents, reflecting the enduring respect and admiration he commands across the state.
