Blending spirituality with environmental stewardship, Governor Kavinder Gupta laid the foundation stone for the Parmarth Eco Village in Manei, Kangra district. Praising the initiative as a vital milestone for human service and conservation, the Governor envisioned the project as a dynamic center of learning that bridges traditional wisdom with modern eco-conscious practices.
Drawing attention to the delicate Himalayan balance, the Governor underscored the responsibility of preserving a clean and prosperous Earth for future generations. He credited spiritual guidance from Param Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswati for intertwining ecology with community service. The project, brought to life by the Vrinda Foundation Trust, promises to boost rural livelihoods through organic agriculture, green tourism, and the promotion of indigenous products.
The event set an inspiring tone for local participation as the Governor kicked off a plantation drive targeting one lakh saplings. Recognizing grassroots contributions, the administration felicitated landowners Rakesh and Dinesh for their land donations, alongside local changemakers Sanjay Dhiman and Rumi Devi, cementing the Eco Village as a true community-driven model for a greener future.
