A spokesperson for the state government said that the proposed restructuring of the Directorates of education in the state would not impact the promotion opportunities of any teacher. He said that the education department is considering the legitimate demands of teachers sympathetically and would take appropriate action accordingly.
The spokesperson said that the restructuring of the Directorates of education is in the best interest of both students and teachers and the government would ensure that the interests of the teachers remain unaffected.
