In a meeting with departmental officers, Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil reviewed the damage caused to health institutions in the state due to heavy rains. To ensure the smooth provision of health services in the state, Dr. Shandil announced the cancellation of leaves for all employees working in health institutions. This decision aims to guarantee uninterrupted healthcare delivery during intermittent rains.
Storage of Essential Medicines and Ambulance Service
Dr. Shandil instructed health department officials to make proper arrangements for the storage of essential medicines. This step ensures that health institutions have an adequate supply of necessary medications to meet the needs of patients. Additionally, the Health Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining uninterrupted ambulance services in all health institutions across the state.
