Taking Preventive Measures for Rainy Season

In a meeting with departmental officers, Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil reviewed the damage caused to health institutions in the state due to heavy rains. The Health Minister highlighted that the government has implemented necessary steps to prevent diseases during the rainy season and provide immediate health services during emergencies.

Ensuring Smooth Provision of Health Services ( Health Minister‘s )

To ensure the smooth provision of health services in the state, Dr. Shandil announced the cancellation of leaves for all employees working in health institutions. This decision aims to guarantee uninterrupted healthcare delivery during intermittent rains.

Storage of Essential Medicines and Ambulance Service

Dr. Shandil instructed health department officials to make proper arrangements for the storage of essential medicines. This step ensures that health institutions have an adequate supply of necessary medications to meet the needs of patients. Additionally, the Health Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining uninterrupted ambulance services in all health institutions across the state.

By taking these proactive measures, the Health and Family Welfare Department aims to address the challenges posed by heavy rains and ensure the continued functioning of health institutions to serve the people effectively.
