The Himachal Pradesh Board of Departmental Examinations has announced the postponement of departmental examinations that were scheduled to be held from April 28 to May 7, 2026. The decision has been taken due to administrative reasons, according to an official spokesperson.
The examinations were to be conducted for a range of categories, including candidates from the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HAS), Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar cadres, as well as other gazetted and non-gazetted officers. Employees such as Kanungos, Patwaris, and regular staff of state boards and corporations were also slated to appear.
The spokesperson added that a revised date sheet will be released soon and will be made available on the official website of the Dr. Manmohan Singh Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (MSHIPA).
