Himachal Pradesh: Dress Code for Teachers in Hamirpur District Schools Encouraged

A Departmental Notice has been issued to all schools in the Hamirpur district—primary, middle, high, and secondary—requiring teachers to adopt a dress code. While there is no opposition to the dress code, it is expected that the same code should also be applied to all employees and officers within the education department. Though it is an optional advisory, the Department emphasised it would encourage healthy outlook.
