HPBOSE Streamlines Certification Process Fot 10Th And 12th Grade Exams

Announcing a significant stride in the education sector, Education Minister, Rohit Thakur stated that the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, (HPBOSE) Dharamshala, will now also issue passing certificates to the pass outs of the 10th and 12th grade examinations from the board. The decision aims to address the challenges faced by students from remote areas who had to visit the board’s office for the crucial certification, said the Minister.

He said that, earlier, the education board had been issuing only scorecards and migration certificates for the 10th and 12th grade examinations, while various other educational boards, including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), use to issue passing certificates, as well.

This disparity created inconveniences, particularly for those seeking employment outside the state, as they had to approach the board’s office in person to obtain this essential document. Emphasizing the importance of this decision in streamlining the process to facilitate the students, education minister said that this will not only simplify the certification process but would enhance the prospects of students pursuing higher education.
