IAS & HAS Probationers Call on Governor

Indian Administrative Services (IAS) probationers of 2021 Batch and Himachal Administrative Services (HAS) & Allied Services Officers of 2022 Batch called on Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar here today. These probationers are undergoing training at the HP Institute of Public Administration, Fairlawn, Shimla. During the interaction, the Governor said that being an administrative officer is the biggest achievement of their life. He appeals to them to serve the society with dedication, honesty and patriotism. “Your identification is your behavior and the service you are providing to the people.

If the service spirit is not in the mind, then the situation becomes opposite, so work by keeping the interest of the country in mind”, said the Governor. The Governor also discussed work culture, tourism industry, environment and other issues related to the State interest and shared their views in various fields. He also shared his experiences with them. He advised them to be positive in life. He said that the responsibility lies on them to ensure that the welfare schemes implemented by the central and the State government reach the intended beneficiaries and no eligible person is left out and there should not be any scope for discrimination.   Director, HIPA Rugved Thakur, Additional Director, HIPA Jyoti Rana, Joint Controller, HIPA Vikas Gupta were also present on the occasion.
