Inter House Hindi Dramatics Competition held at AHS Boys

The Inter-House Hindi Dramatics Competition was held at Auckland House School for Boys, Shimla, on June 25, 2024 with great enthusiasm and participation from the students. The event was graced by the esteemed panel of judges Dr. Kamal Manohar, Former Chairman, Department of Political Science, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla; Jawahar Kaul, who has had a long association with AIR, Shimla as an artist and an actor and Shalini Suyal, H.O.D Department of Hindi, Auckland House School.

The Founding Principal, Michael A. John, Sunita John, Director, Auckland House School and Smaraki Samantaroy, Principal Auckland House School also attended the event, adding to its grandeur.

The competition witnessed remarkable performances from students representing different houses. The Judges for the event are renowned personalities in the field of theatre and education, bringing their expertise to evaluate the exceptional talent showcased by the participants.

This competition was held between the four Houses: Durrant, French, Lefroy and Matthew. Students from all four Houses participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. They all were appreciated for their excellent performance on stage by the judges. First position was bagged by Durrant House, Matthew House stood second and Lefroy House was placed at third position. Vihan Thakur was adjudged as the overall Best Actor.
