BCS.Sc Ex_29.5 (1)Exhibitions in schools are a platform for students to showcase their flair and sharpen their immensely imaginative minds. The Annual Science Exhibition held at Bishop Cotton School here today in the school premises witnessed few amazing creations. There were still models as well as working models and projects as the exhibits were very creative and spectacular. The exhibits included water recycling techniques, Ostwald Process, heart diaphragm, heart pumping blood model, eco-friendly houses, various types of sensors and other interesting chemistry experiments.  Parents were seen in full force to witness the beautiful exhibits prepared by their kids, which filled them with pride and joy as they saw the hard work of their children.

BCS.Sc Ex_29.5 (2)Mrs Bhatia, mother of Dilprit Bhatia shared her views after seeing the exhibition, “I have seen my child grow year after year in the school. Cottons does not believe in concentrating only on academics but the extra-curricular activities coupled with creativity helps the children to express themselves confidently and for the complete credit goes to the school faculty. These exhibitions play a very important part in teaching them an appropriate way of presenting themselves”. Mrs Gupta, mother of Ateek Gupta from Delhi said, “Exhibitions help in growing new ideas in the minds of children and they participate in various games and activities which helps in their overall development too”.  Mr Gongal shared his experience and said, “Today along with witnessing some great work prepared by our children, we also learn about their progress from the teachers during the Parent Teacher Meet”.

BCS.Sc Ex_29.5 (3)School Headmaster Christopher Robinson appreciated the efforts of the students and the science faculty for putting up some brilliant models. He said, “In an exhibition, students get a chance to apply their skills learnt in the classrooms and practically showcase them through various projects and models. It gives them a chance to apply their ideas and present things differently in their own unique ways. Our teachers guide the students but the major amount of hard work, the brilliant ideas and topics to work on are opted by the students. I am proud to see their work and development every year”.

Junior School Headmistress Dorothy Robinson expressed her thoughts about the exhibition and said, “It is not enough to just tell or write what they know, but it is essential for the students to present what they know in the best possible way and we along with school faculty try to do achieve this every year”.
