A documentary titled Jagdi Neend (Reality Decoded) was screened at Gaiety Theatre here today, as Suresh Bhardwaj, Urban Development Minister presided as the chief guest along with distinguished guests present namely, Army General J J Singh (retd.) Army Chief and Dr. Purnima Chauhan (IAS retd.) among others.

Conceptualized and produced by Harpreet Singh Khalsa, Co-founder of www.sikhtechings.com, Tarunpreet Singh, Co-founder of the Australian Sikh History Association and Manpreet Dhillon of XAD Films, the documentary helps to understand the basic concepts of spirituality and virtual reality. It brings to light how advances in virtual reality can advance the challenges of spirituality to the next generation. The documentary takes examples from the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib to develop the narrative and provides a context to most of the topics discussed in the film.

The event was hosted by Harjinder Kaur along with Paramjit Singh of Sikh Missionary College. Youth and school children came in large numbers to watch the documentary, which highlights the relevance of the subject to them. The documentary provided him with perspective on how he needed to be self-aware and actively work towards his mindfulness in the age of technology.
