Share post:

We write to you on behalf of EARTHDAY.ORG, an international environmental NGO that grew out of the first Earth Day (April 22, 1970) and today engages with over 50,000 organisations in more than 195 countries to widen, diversify and mobilise the environmental movement worldwide.

Please see below an annual contest for schools in India with certificates for all and prizes for winners. Do have your school participate and you may be lucky enough to feature on our international social media pages.

Following are the simple steps to do so:

Step 1
Any day till the end of July during the school’s regular morning assembly, reserve some time for an environment-focused programme that will help build awareness among all the students and teachers on this year’s Earth Day theme Invest In Our Planet. Skits, songs, rallies, posters, cleanup drives, presentations, photography, painting Earth Murals on school walls… can help build awareness, and find ways and solutions to Invest In Our Planet.

You can access our official logos for sole use at the School Morning Assembly. Feel free to use them. Click: Resources Tool Kit
Step 2
Fill in the entry form with photos and details: https://bit.ly/EarthDayMorningAssemblyContest2022
The last date for submission of your entry is July 31, 2022.
All entries will be uploaded on our Earth Day Network India Facebook page to inspire others.
