Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan, is set to host the Eighth International Conference on Image Information Processing (ICIIP–2025) from 27th to 29th November 2025. The biennial IEEE-sponsored conference, organized by JUIT since 2011, has evolved into a premier global platform uniting researchers, academicians, scientists, and industry experts working in Image Processing, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, and computational imaging.

This year’s theme, “Transforming Lives Through Intelligent Image Processing,” highlights the growing societal impact of advanced imaging technologies. Areas such as healthcare, robotics, digital forensics, autonomous systems, and human–computer interaction continue to benefit from innovative imaging solutions. ICIIP–2025 encourages submissions showcasing interdisciplinary research, real-world impact, and technological advancement.

The conference received over 820 submissions, with a competitive acceptance rate of approximately 16%, reflecting its high academic standards. Participants from more than 20 countries, including India, the U.S., the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Israel, Malaysia, Norway, Turkey, China, Poland, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Russia, and Jordan, are expected to contribute. Representation from major IITs, NITs, IIITs, international universities, research labs, and defence institutions will further enrich the conference’s academic diversity.

Financial support for ICIIP–2025 will be provided by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). Technical collaboration will come from IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, MathWorks, and DesignTech Systems. Leading industry partners—including IBM, Dell, C-DAC, MassMutual, Capgemini, and Avast—will participate through expert talks, workshops, and special sessions.

Eminent speakers such as Prof. Richa Singh (IIT Jodhpur), Prof. Benoît Macq (University of Louvain), Prashant Tiwari (DRDO), Dr. Sriparna Saha (IIT Patna), Prof. L. D. Behera (IIT Mandi), and Dr. Abhinav Dhall (Monash University, Australia) will deliver keynote lectures. Their sessions will explore advanced topics including biometrics, medical imaging, surveillance intelligence, deep learning, neural computation, affective computing, and human behavioural analysis.

ICIIP–2025 aims to foster impactful research, encourage young scholars, boost international collaboration, and strengthen ties between academia and industry. With its strong global participation and forward-looking agenda, the conference is poised to be a landmark event, further elevating JUIT’s stature as a hub of research and innovation in intelligent imaging and AI-driven technologies.
