Vandana Bhagra, Shimla

Keekli Book Club in partnership with HimachalTonite Media Channel presents yet another innovative idea that gives wings to our young budding readers and writers from Shimla City. They may now sit with senior writers/artists in engaging conversations, in a one-on-one interview that will be streamed LIVE every weekend.

Our inaugural episode streamed LIVE on 5th August, 2023, at Brews & Books Café, Samrat Building, Mall, Shimla. Since then, NINE interviews have taken place. It is an open invitation to young readers/writers and anyone else interested to be part of this interesting adventure. Our young interviewers will explore the journey of these personalities, their mindset and what inspired them to pursue their passion and excel in their chosen fields.

These interviews will also help children open up to the power of the words and exchange their own experiences while bridging the gap between the two generations. Joining hands in this venture are also Food4thought Foundation and the Association of Book Clubs, which will help us connect with book clubs registered pan-India and avid readers and writers who will view these interviews.

All that children have to do is register by sending an expression of interest message on our mail id – keekli.500@gmail.com / ritanjalihastir@gmail.com or a Whatsapp message on 8091021796 / 9817095985. A monthly schedule will be prepared based on everyone’s convenience & availability. The onus is on us to mentor them, so why wait, make the most of this opportunity!
