Unleash Your Imagination! Young writers under 20 from schools and colleges across India are invited to participate in an exciting celebration of storytelling. This nationwide competition honors India’s rich literary and cultural heritage while nurturing fresh voices and recognizing emerging talent.

Responding to requests from students busy with examinations, the submission deadline has been extended to March 31, 2026. You now have more time to refine and perfect your story!

Competition Details

  • Word Count: 1,000–2,500 words

  • Languages: English or Hindi

  • Themes: Open theme or stories inspired by your state or city’s folklore, monuments, history, or culture

  • Genres: Fiction, Non-fiction, Travelogue, or Memoir

Prizes and Opportunities

  • Top 31–51 selected entries will be published in a national anthology

  • Exclusive creative workshops and webinars with distinguished jury members

  • Mandatory one-on-one mentoring sessions to help shortlisted writers polish their stories

Rules & Guidelines

  • Include your class, school/college name, city, and contact number

  • Submissions must be typed (handwritten entries will not be accepted)

  • AI-generated content and plagiarism will lead to disqualification

  • Properly acknowledge any inspiration or references from existing sources
