Oath Ceremony in S.D. School — Kartick and Muskaan Captains for Senior Section; Harit and Mittali for Junior Section

SD.School.17.7.15The oath ceremony of the student council was held today in S.D. Sr. Secondary School Shimla, which was administered by the School Principal wherein the school captain, vice captain and various house captains and vice captains were adorned with the badges. The principal urged the members of the student council to take up their duties responsibly and lead by example. Members of the student council were upbeat after making it to the coveted student council.

During this ceremony Kartick Joshi was selected as the School Captain (Boys) and Vice Captain Rohit Jaswal for Senior Section, while Muskaan Bhardwaj was School Captain and Mohit Negi was selected as Vice Captain for Girls Senior Section. In addition to this Harit Sharma was selected as the Head Boy and Mittali Thakur became Head Girl for Junior Section.

During the oath ceremony captains and vice captains for the four houses were also selected. For the Senior and Junior Section — Gunjan as Captain, Manish as Vice Captain for Bhagat House; Simran as Captain and Tarun Dutt as Vice Captain for Shivaji House; Sumit as Captain and Mukesh as Vice Captain for Maharana Pratap House and Pankaj as Captain and Priyanka selected Vice Captain for Tagore House.

In addition to this, the Junior Section selects were as Priyanshu CapSD.School.17.7.15btain and Mittali Vice Captain for Bhagat House; while Utkarsh as Captain and Gaurav Bhardwaj as Vice Captain for Shivaji House; Sarabjeet as Captain and Mukesh as Vice Captain for Maharana Pratap House and Abhishek Gupta as Captain and Rupesh as Vice Captain for Tagore House.

Workshop on Oral Hygiene Organized in School

On the same day a workshop on oral hygiene was conducted by the school management in the school campus. Dr. Anurag facilitated the workshop and gave information regarding best practices of oral hygiene to the students and teachers .Student and teachers participated enthusiastically in the workshop and gained insight regarding good oral hygiene.
