Parents are always charmed and enticed by the cute and adorable performance given by their children during the annual functions. Dressed in colourful attires, all glowing with make-up, are just ready with their innocent moves to dazzle their parents. The Junior School Speech Day of Auckland House School was just such an occasion to enjoy a beautiful morning among angels. Dr Anurita Saxena, General Manager, H.P.  Kaushal  Vikas Nigam, Shimla presided over the function as the chief guest who was warmly welcome by the Director-Principal Sunita John and Auckland School for Boys Principal Micheal A John and the staff of the Lower Primary Department.

A wide variety of dances, play and action songs put forth by the children were very entertaining and loveable. The Musical Play “A Frog Prince” enthralled the audience. The children made their parents proud by displaying forth the talent in the entire programme. Form I performed on a song “Na kato mujhe” which enlighten people to save trees and thus save the environment. The most enjoyed dances were the Kinnauri and Nagaland, which breathed in a fresh air to the whole event.

A brief report of the school was given by the Principal John highlighting the achievements of the students of the current academic year. The Chief Guest Dr. Saxena applauded the staff and students for putting up a grand show. She emphasized that parents should talk more often with their children as this time lost would never return in their lives. These years are the most precious one in both the parents and a child’s life, hence make the most of it.

The programme came to an end with the distribution of various prizes. The students won prizes for excellence in academics, good all round, steady work, computer science, art and good conduct. (More Videos)
