Governor Kavinder Gupta, accompanied by Lady Governor Bindu Gupta and family members, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Maharashtra, Jishnu Dev Varma, at Lok Bhavan in Mumbai. During the meeting, both Governors exchanged warm greetings and engaged in cordial discussions regarding the cultural, spiritual, and developmental heritages of Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra, reinforcing strong institutional ties and bilateral cooperation between the two states.
Following the institutional visit, Governor Gupta offered prayers at the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja shrine during the ongoing Ganeshotsav celebrations. Praying for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people of Himachal Pradesh and the nation, he highlighted that Ganeshotsav serves as a testament to India’s rich spiritual identity, fostering social harmony and collective faith across regional boundaries.
