In a remarkable initiative under the G20 banner, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) in Shimla recently organized a three-day Intra Quiz Competition named ‘QuizLex 2023’ focusing on the Constitution of India.
The event, hosted by the Enigma Quiz Committee, saw 20 teams engage in an intellectual battle during the Preliminary Round. From these, 8 teams qualified for the Quarter-Finals, and eventually, 4 teams made it to the Semi-Finals. The cream of the crop, the top 2 teams, proceeded to the Grand Finale.
The Grand Finale was graced with the august presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Nishtha Jaswal, and Registrar Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Jaswal. Prof. (Dr.) Nishtha Jaswal delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of holistic education systems, emphasizing that events like these play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education.
Dr. Ruchi Gupta, the committee’s chairperson, extended a warm welcome to kickstart the event. The final showdown witnessed ‘Simple Minds,’ a team of third-year students, emerge as the victorious champions with their lightning-quick responses. ‘Rolling Stones,’ a team of fifth-year students, secured the first runner-up position in a highly competitive contest. The event culminated with a gracious vote of thanks by the committee convener, Dr. Pushpanjali Sood.
This Intra Quiz Competition not only celebrated intellectual prowess but also underlined the significance of fostering comprehensive education systems. Such events promise to shape a brighter future for aspiring minds.
