Addressing the students, Director of Army Recruiting Office, Colonel Pushvinder Kaur and Subedar Major Suresh D informed 123 students of ITI, Junga about the process of recruitment in the Armed Forces. He told why we should join the Armed Forces and what is the role of the Indian Army.
During this, he gave detailed information about the entry schemes of the Army. Discussed how Agniveer is playing a leading role in nation building and providing employment to the youth by clearing the misconceptions of the students related to the Agniveer Scheme.
Recruitment Director Colonel Pushvinder Kaur from Army Recruiting Office Shimla also said that the recruitment of fire warriors will be done in two phases. In the first phase there will be online computer based written examination (Online CEE) and in the second phase there will be a recruitment rally. He also informed that the youth of Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Kinnaur districts who were born between 01 October 2003 to 30 April 2007 and have passed class 10th or 12th or are waiting for the declaration of results. All are eligible to apply. Admit cards for appearing in the online CEE will be available on “Join Indian Army” website a few days before the commencement of the examination.
