SJVN’s Chairman & Managing Director, Nand Lal Sharma, announced that the company has been awarded the prestigious Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) Certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The certification was formally presented to Prem Prakash (IOFS), Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of SJVN, by Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), Director General of BIS, during the National Seminar on ABMS held at NITS-Noida.

SJVN’s achievement marks a pioneering moment as it becomes the first Power Sector Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to successfully implement the ISO 37001:2016 Standard across 14 of its locations. Nand Lal Sharma expressed his pride in this accomplishment, highlighting the extensive efforts invested in implementing the ABMS framework. This recognition reaffirms SJVN’s commitment to transparency and ethical business practices.

During the event, Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), Director General of BIS, commended SJVN for its substantial contributions to the field of Anti-Bribery Management Systems. The event also saw the presence of Ashish Tripathi (IRS), CVO of BIS, as well as CVOs from other PSUs. SJVN’s Executive Director (IT&SE), Salil Shamshery, and Deputy CVO, Anil Kumar Goel, were also in attendance, along with other senior officials.
