In a significant stride towards environmental conservation, SJVN organized a large-scale tree plantation drive near Ghannati, Shimla, as part of the nationwide # Plant4Mother ( #name_of_a_tree_mother_ ) campaign .
Mrs. Bhawna Sharma, the Chief Patron of the Satluj Shree Ladies Club, graced the plantation drive as the chief guest and initiated the campaign by planting an oak tree. Mrs. Bhawna Sharma emphasized the critical importance of environmental conservation and the role that each individual can play in preserving our natural resources for future generations.
She praised the efforts of SJVN in spearheading this vital initiative, as the campaign progresses, SJVN will continue to play a leading role in ensuring the vision of a greener, more sustainable India. The plantation drive was witnessed by Senior Officials of SJVN, Mrs. Madhurima Singh, Chairperson of the Satluj Shree Ladies Club SJVN employees, members of the Satluj Shree Ladies Club, and other stakeholders. 200 oak trees were planted during this plantation drive.
