Specialists Check and Treat 170 Students during Health Camp — Shogi

Health-Camp.Shigi.15.7.15A one day health checkup camp for school children was organized by the District Institute of Educational and Training (DIET) Shamlaghat in the Government Senior Secondary School Shoghi. The camp was organized under the guidance and supervision of the District Coordinator Dr. Arjun Singh Kanwar and a team of specialists from the IGMC Hospital namely, Dr. Ramesh Azad (ENT); Dr. Pawan Thakur (Ortho); Dr. Madan Kaushik and Dr. Vinay Gupta (Eyes). On this occasion Dr. Arjun Kanwar said, “The main purpose of this camp was to ensure good health of the kids as they are the future of our country. About 170 students were part of this programme here today the various schools of the area who benefited from this health camp”.

During the camp free medicines were also distributed to the children as per their needs and diagnosis of various doctors. All students received refreshments and transportation charges were also given to the parents of the students. The specialists gave health tips to the students and some of them were even advised to see doctors at the IGMC Hospital for a thorough checkup.

The panchayat Pradhan of Thadi, Asha Kashyap was also present during the occasion.
