There is no garden as beautiful as childhood. Our teachers know how to nurture this garden and make it special for them. The school organised a special programme on children’s day to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The teachers made the occasion memorable for the children by conducting a special assembly which included prayer, hymns, thoughts etc. The children were treated to a melodious medley of songs. It was a fun filled day for all the students as a gamut of fun-filled activities along with a mini fete was organised for them to enjoy their special day. St. Edward’s School shared their joy with 25 special children alongwith 4 mentors plus 3 attendants. 2 ambulance drivers from ABHI, an NGO for special children working in Panthaghati. A special programme consisting of various activities and games was organised and prizes were distributed. A lucky draw was taken out for all the students where the lucky ones got various prizes like Kindle etc. A friendly football match was also played between the senior and the junior team. The day ended on a memorable note with children feeling special as they had an amazing celebration and a wonderful day at school. We wish every child a very happy Children’s Day and may their lives be filled with joy and laughter forever.
