The grand celebration began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Colonel Akash Singha, whose presence added prestige to the occasion. This was followed by a flawless march past and parade inspection, as students marched with confidence and precision, reflecting the strong culture of discipline nurtured by the school.
The audience was treated to a breathtaking display of synchronized performances including Free Hand PT, Yoga, Gymnastics, Bamboo PT and Taekwondo. Every presentation reflected energy, grace and rigorous training, earning thunderous applause from parents and guests. The excitement intensified with high-spirited skating races and fun-filled musical chair events that kept the crowd cheering throughout the day.
In his address, Colonel Akash Singha praised the institution for fostering excellence both on the field and in the classroom. He emphasized that sports build courage, leadership and the ability to overcome challenges — qualities that prepare students for life beyond school.
Principal Reuben John highlighted the deeper purpose of sports in education, stating that participation teaches invaluable life lessons of perseverance, confidence and unity. “Victory is important, but the true spirit of sports lies in participation, discipline and the determination to give one’s best. Sports Day is a celebration of character, courage and collective spirit,” he remarked.
The day concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the outstanding performances and efforts of students across various events. The Sports Day once again reaffirmed the school’s commitment to holistic development, where academic excellence is strengthened by physical fitness, leadership and strong moral values.
